Hello and welcome to my #funseekingkids round-up week 8. This week feels different after the terrible attack in Manchester on Monday night. I wondered about not posting this, given the theme is around children having fun, which is just what the children, teens and young adults were doing on Monday night before the atrocity took place. But after chatting to Alana we decided that actually we want to share some positivity. So we hope if nothing else these sweet photos will lift your spirits.
Each week we share our favourite photos posted in the new Instagram community set up by myself and Alana from Burnished Chaos. If you’re wondering what #funseekingkids is all about, it’s pretty simple really. It’s a new hashtag to use when you post photos of your kids having fun on Instagram. Every Thursday we share on our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 8
1. My first choice is from Katie who runs a fab blog (one of the first I admired as a newbie) Mummy In A Tutu. Her daughter looks so happy here with good old bubbles and play doh!
This morning I made time for me and this little one and thought the rest of the packing has to wait. So glad I did. We did play dough and Nonna found some bubbles. Her face is just pure joy, excitement and wonder. There’s my little one, I knew she was here somewhere…. – – – #lionessmama #thismamaloves #worldoflittles #littlefierceones #happylittlebuttons #littlelivelaughlove #lifewithkids #mummylove #ukparentbloggers #puddingposes #mytinymoment #mydarlingmemory #countrykidsfun #funseekingkids #cameramama #celebrate_childhood #joyfulmamas #toddlertales #rememberingthesedays #amomentinmotherhood #perfectandproud #noordinarykids #myhappycapture #lifecloseup #freespiritedchildhood #totsphoto #tribalchat #todaysmomentintime #coolmumclub #alifesopretty
2. Next I chose this one from Mum Muddling Through, another blogger I love. Miss Belle is getting braver these days so I hope one day she’ll tackle stuff like this!
THIS GIRL CAN | I’ve seen a change in this one since turning five. Lioness not princess for sure; a new found lease of life and unstoppable sense of adventure. A love of sport and a zest for all things outdoors. Always growing, in every sense of he word. . . . . . #coolmumclub #thismamaloves #mummyshot #ukparentbloggers #myhappycapture #livingfearlesslyauthentic #pinklinker #totsphoto #snaphappybritmums #lionessmama #rockingmummylife #mydarlingmemory #funseekingkids #childofig #instamum #littlefierceones #outdoorsandfree #chasingnature #happylittlebuttons #whatevertheweather #rememberingthesedays #capturingtheday #perfectandproud #bestofmom #candidchildhood #theeverydayproject #photosinbetween #thesearethedays #inspiremyinstagram
3. My third choice is this super cute one from Dawn who blogs at Rhyming with Wine. Dawn is a seriously clever lady and does some great parodies so check her blog out.

4. My last choice is this gorgeous shot taken by Laura who blogs at Dancing Dandelions. It’s a really lovely picture and lifted my spirits.
| BOYS BOYS BOYS | How is the weekend nearly over already? Hope you had a good one? We’ve had a quiet one really, finishing off the last few diy jobs in the kitchen, shopping and having a wonder to the local home & garden festival – so here’s a little throwback to last weekends adventures instead! The boys were all looking at a Mummy duck with her 12 little ducklings.

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. This week I chose this one because her son looks pretty happy with his new resting place!
So that’s it for my #funseekingkids round-up week 8. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll be back with another round-up next week. x
