Hi and welcome back to my round-up of photos from the #funseekingkids hashtag on Instagram. I’m looking forward to the long weekend and Matt being off for Easter. Sadly it looks like the weather isn’t going to be great which is annoying. We had one lovely sunny day here on Monday and it’s been raining ever since!! Anyway, onto my #funseekingkids round-up week 49.
For those of you who don’t know, #funseekingkids is an Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 49
1. My first choice is from Laura who blogs at Little Ladies Big World. This made me smile because my two always end up with a hat in their face, especially in the car. Thanks Laura for joining us.
When you pay for a full days nursery only to be stuck at home getting absolutely zero work done and being hassled every 5 seconds to play games because the 7 year old has slap cheek yet there is absolutely nothing wrong with her She will be the first one at the school gate tomorrow I can tell you that I keep telling myself once Roma starts two days at nursery it will get easier and I won’t be so stressed if (when) my work day gets hijacked by mumlife. ♀️ Telling myself anyway! . . . . #myhappycapture #happiesttots #myfamilyadventures #thesiblingsproject #lifecloseup #letsgolittles #momentsoverposes #myhappychildhood #mumlife #workfromhomemum #lifewellcaptured #snaplovegrow #raisingragamuffins #everythingtribe #watchthemgrow #thesincerestoryteller #dearestviewfinder #lifewellcaptured #lovelifeoutside #curiouslittleexplorers #funlovingkids #funseekingkids #littlelivelaughlove #capturingthemoment
2. My next choice is a lovely sunny one from Catherine. If only the sun had stuck around! You can find more from Catherine at her blog Miss P Meets World.
3. My next choice is a gorgeous one from Kate. How beautiful is this face paint? I’m so looking forward to Miss Belle being able to have stuff like this done. Thanks Kate for joining us. Kate’s blog is Counting to Ten.
When it’s your cousin’s birthday party you can get away with getting your arm painted as well as your face. The flower on her arm even matches her gorgeous dress from @mandco_kids (bought with a voucher I won from them on Instagram). We’ve had a lovely day with family and both girls are exhausted. Their mummy is too Back to school tomorrow for 4 days but I think we are all ready for the Easter Holidays and all the chocolate . I hope you are all having a good weekend x . . . #simplykids #mumswithcameras #mycolourfulkids #worldoflittles #happylittlebuttons #childrenunplugged #ukparentbloggers #facepaint #noordinarykids #ig_bbcc #thisissix #littlestoriesofmylife #littlefierceones #candidchildhood #thisparentlife #funseekingkids #childrensfashion #kidsclothes
4. My last post is another sunny capture and it really made me smile, especially the excitement on the middle child’s face! Super cute. This is from Tinker and Totsy, a new account for me. You can find more Nicki on her blog Tinker and Totsy.
Doesn’t sunshine just make everything feel so much better? The clocks have gone forward, stealing a precious hour of the weekend (why do we even do if, it just makes no sense and if anyone says ‘extra daylight’ I might slap them, there is NO MORE DAYLIGHT!!!) and tomorrow I have to very reluctantly return to work as my maternity leave has ended and I have failed to win the lottery despite my best efforts, but it has been such a sunny day that it’s hard to be in a bad mood! Sienna had a party this morning, then we had a walk to the park for the first time in ages, and it was lovely watching the girls run around happily in the sun. Also, after a few months of not posting anything on my blog, I have managed to publish not one but two posts today!! One explaining why I’ve not blogged, and one about the birth of my grandson, if you fancy a read. Happy Sunday everyone and think of me tomorrow as I trudge off to work!

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. I chose one of her family getting out enjoying the sunshine too. Looks a lovely place.
G is for Getting Out in the fresh air and exploring. What a difference a week makes. Last week we were sledging and dealing with gale force winds and snow drifts. This weekend the weather has been beautiful (if chilly) and we headed to the coast on Saturday. We started at Marsden Grotto and moved down to Hartlepool then Seaton Carew and had a great day
So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 49. If you’re on instagram but haven’t joined us before, please do check out other feeds using the hashtag, it’s a great way to find new people to follow. And don’t forget to go over and show this weeks featured instagrammers some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too.
I suspect next week will be full of chocolate Easter related posts… have a great Easter!
