Hello and welcome to my #funseekingkids round-up week 37. How have you all been? I’m still not right and have a lingering cold which is actually worse this week than last, so I’m hoping it will do one soon so I can enjoy some festivities! That being said, we’ve had a nice week as Matt took some days off work so we had some nice family days out – maternity photo shoot, afternoon tea, seeing the Christmas lights, going on the Santa train and then a child free day at the Spa! I was kind of disappointed with the lack of snow here on Sunday and Monday. It was forecast to be heavy, and it did snow, but it didn’t really settle. So we didn’t play in it and I have no snow pics! But I’ve made up for it with a spectacularly snowy round-up this week!
For those of you who don’t know, #funseekingkids is an Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 37
1. My first choice is this fab shot from Jo-Ann. Not only is it an awesome photo of pure happiness, I loved the caption – it’s like being in a snow globe! So very true! Check out Jo-Ann’s lovely feed @amumandthensome.
‘It’s like we are in a snow globe!’ . Love how the little ones see the magic. Happy Saturday. . #snow #snowday #snowglobe #magic #joy #specialtimes #cherishandrelish #flashesofdelight #mydarlingmemory #myhappycapture #capturingtheday #thismamaloves #funseekingkids #magicofchildhood #littleloves #letthembelittle #letthemplay #petitejoys #momentslikethese #simplepleasures #ni #northernireland
2. My second choice is from a new feed I’ve found, @Marley_and_us. I remember the first time we took Miss Belle sledging, she was so happy! This photo made me think of that. Marley looks like he’s having a blast!
3. My third choice is from the lovely Wendy who blogs at Naptime Natter. Wendy has a lovely feed and is one of the bloggers I’ve been following for a while. She’s a great writer. It looks like she’s had a great time with her kids experiencing the snow through their eyes.
4. My last featured image is from Sara, aka Mum Turned Mom. I love this photo! It’s such a good shot and looks like they were having so much fun! It just caught my attention and had to be included. Thanks Sara for joining us.

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. I love this one of her daughter all princessed up for a party. Looks like she had a lot of fun. I’m excited for Miss Belle’s party now!!
If you saw yesterday’s post you’ll know that Lyla went to her first party on Saturday. Well, on Sunday she went to her second! This time it was a pirate and princess theme. I have expected her to go in a princess dress and a pirate hat but she decided to go with a tiara instead. It was so nice seeing her playing with all the friends she’s made a preschool and I feel a lot better about those morning drop-offs now that I know how well they all get on. It always worried me that as an August baby she would be so much younger than the others it would be a struggle, but there were no signs of that at all. I still can’t believe she’ll start school next year though
So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 37. Please go and check out these accounts if they’re new to you and show them some love. And make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll see you all next week for my final week for a while! x
