#funseekingkids round-up week 35

Hello and welcome to my #funseekingkids round-up week 35! Hope you’ve all had a good week. Can I firstly say a massive thank you to those of you who use the hashtag as we have over 10,000 photos now tagged within this community which is pretty awesome!! Instagram is getting very festive! I can’t believe people have already been putting their trees up! I’m firmly in the “not until December” camp, but the last few years it’s got earlier and earlier. Usually we do ours the first weekend in December but we’ll be doing ours later this year as Matt is taking a few days leave towards the end of next week so we will do it then. I tried not to have a completely festive round-up but I’m afraid some excellent Christmassy shots have got in. Expect more of the same for the next few weeks!

#funseekingkids is an Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.

1. My first choice is from Briony who blogs at Anyway To Stay At Home. Love her son’s reaction to being asked to pose for a pic. Very cute. And yep, we’ve already had one festive fix at our local garden centre too. Always a winner!

This is what I get if I ask him to smile Quick trip to the garden centre for a festive fix

2. My second pick is this beautiful one from Kate who has a fab blog called The Less Refined Mind. This is just the right amount of festive for me at the moment. Not gaudy in your face, but definitely enough to get the kids excited for the big day.

3. My third choice is just a plain old fun seeking kid! Doing exactly what it says on the tin, swinging about like a little monkey. Thank you to Outdoorsy Kids for joining us with this one.

4. And finally my last choice is another festive one.. but I had to include it because it looks so magical and I’m so jealous! I remember last year seeing some lucky bloggers get to go on review trips to Lapland UK. I’d never heard of it before to be honest (yes I’ve heard of actual Lapland) but I soon realised it was a BIG DEAL. I’d love to go one day and this lovely pic from Taryn shows why. Just so pretty… You can find more from Taryn at her blog 3 Little Ladies and Me.

Well that was all kinds of magical… Thank you for a wonderful day @laplanduk . As I snuggled the girls into bed tonight they told me it was the best day of their life – apart from the car breaking down bit… (we got a flat tyre on the way home which was fun 😳) watch this space for a full review and video xxx ___________________________________ #laplanduk #itstrue #themagicofchildhood #themagicofchristmas #festivefun #enchantedchristmas #enchantedforest #enchantedchildhood #christmasmagic #christmasishere #lovelifeoutside #whatevertheweatherkids #letitsnow #theirwonderfulworld #funseekingkids #ourfamilyadventures #letsgolittles #nothingisordinary #curiouslittleexplorers #itsbeginningtolookalotlikechristmas #rememberingthesedays

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. We have a very similar Peppa Pig house which goes down a treat here too. And it’s good to hear Alana’s daughter is happy at pre-school again. These kids like to keep us on our toes don’t they!?

So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 35. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll see you all next week. x
