Hello. So who can believe it’s November then? Hope you had fun celebrating Halloween if that’s your thing? We’re not massive fans but carved some pumpkins. And like the past few years I bought some chocolates but we had no trick or treaters – so that’s more for me! Result! I didn’t dress Miss Belle up because we didn’t have a party to go to and I personally don’t think trick or treating is for 2 year olds! Maybe next year… at a push….Suppose once they get to school and all their friends do it it’s the sort of thing you have to join in with! Anyway I actually chose not to include any Halloween themed pics this week. Even though we had loads of your little ones dressed up looking fab. But I’m going more with some November feels…. So on to my #funseekingkids round-up week 31!
If you’re wondering what #funseekingkids is all about, it’s pretty simple really. It’s a new Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 31
1. My first choice is this stunning one from The Geordie Bairn. Beautiful colours and a gorgeous little one in a lovely setting. Definitely a good start to November.
2. Next is another fab one from someone who often joins us – Organised Jo. Jo has a fab feed and this one is a brilliant Autumnal one.
We are now back from our short #Cornwall trip. It was lovely to spend time with family & we also visited our first @nationaltrust property across the boarder. Trelissick is close to Truro, it’s based on an estuary & has some stunning views all the way down to the coast. Eldest wanted to tick a few things off her 50 things to do before 11 and three quarters list & tried to catch a falling leaf 🍁 It’s harder than it looks & took a few attempts but she managed it, whoop whoop!! Today we will be spending the day pottering around the house, tidying the garden & getting the girls packed & ready for back to school tomorrow. Have a good Sunday everyone.
3. My third choice is from Sian who blogs at Hue Me Happy. The colours of those leaves!! Great fun and as Craig off Strictly would say… A-MAZ-ING!
4. My last choice is from Stephanie who blogs at Renovation Bay-Bee. I love a good walking though the tree shot and this one with the lovely low sunlight coming through really caught my eye. It’s lovely to see so many of your pics celebrating having fun outdoors this week. Thanks for joining us Steph!

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. Look how happy her daughter is! Who knew such a great rock could make someone so happy!
Look at that face. She was so happy when she found this rock shaped like a seat. The simple things really are the best. I’ve missed that smile this morning. She was adamant she really didn’t want to go to preschool but evil Mummy took her anyway. She was so excited when she went on Monday, I really thought we’d turned a corner with it. Fingers crossed it’s just a momentary blip
So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 31. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll see you all next week. x
