#funseekingkids round-up week 29

Hi and welcome back to my #funseekingkids round-up. I hope you’ve all been well. Sorry to indulge in some weather chat, but it’s been a weird week – super warm and sunny at the weekend and Monday but today it’s turned much colder! So my Instagram feed has been a mixed bag of sunny beach shots and the classic Autumnal ones. I think I may be the only parenting blogger not to have yet visited a pumpkin patch yet for the obligatory pumpkin patch insta photo. Not sure we will to be honest but we could go looking for one at the weekend. We’ve got one from Grandma’s garden so we don’t feel the need to go to one! Anyway, on to my #funseekingkids round-up week 29!

If you’re wondering what #funseekingkids is all about, it’s pretty simple really. It’s a new Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.

#funseekingkids round-up week 29

1. My first choice this week is from Organised Jo who has a lovely feed. There were a couple of hers I could have chosen this week, but in the end I went with this one. Hope you and the kids have a lovely extended half term Jo.

2. Next is a pumpkin patch classic, with the cutest hat ever! Thanks to Rachel for joining us with this pic – again I had two from this feed in my shortlist! Rachel blogs at The Illustrated Teacup, a new blog for me but one I’ll be checking out!

3. My third choice is all about childhood fun, eating toasted marshmallows! Thanks to Mamma’s School for sharing this one. This is another new feed for me with lots of outdoorsy fun photos so do go check it out.

Twin 1 very much enjoying his super sized toasted marshmallow yesterday on the beach what’s your favourite way of toasting them? My trio like to totally caramelise the top and outside, making it crunchy on the outside, but very gooey inside today’s plans with the grandparents include heading off the island for the first time into Karlskrona to show them around a little. #friluftsliv #friluftslivmedbarn #brafriluftsliv #countrykidsfun #whatevertheweatherkids #livinglifewild #runwildmychild #outdoorsandhappy #lovelifeoutside #curiouslittleexplorers #moretoexploreoutdoors #outdoorsandfree #sweden #natureplay #wildandfreechildren #outdoorfamilies #letthemexplore #explorerkids #livinglifewildandfree #freerangekids #lovesweden #visitkarlskrona #lovesweden #toastedmarshmallow #lovesweden❤️ #outdoorkids #sverige #toastedmarshmallows #funseekingkids

4. My last choice is a gorgeous one from Surrey Mama. Such a sweetie I couldn’t not pick this one!

When things feel a bit upside down… You know when you feel like you have the whole parenting thing nailed, then one of the little ones change and it throws it all off? Well that’s kind of where we are right now, it’s all a bit all over the place. Evie has definitely changed, the walking thing was massive and I don’t think I’ve got into swing of that with the two of them yet (and the whole working at home, no childcare thing). I usually dread the holidays, but I am really looking forward to the break and spending a bit more time just the three of us. I think it’ll be really good to have the mornings together as afternoons are always so short. What’s everyone doing over half term? I think we might go on a little trip to Dorset to see my parents for a few days, the sea air is always so nice! P.s new video over on my YouTube channel, our weekend vlog which features a little of us making Amelie’s new big girl bed! (Link in bio) xx

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. I love the look on her daughter’s face in this one. Hilarious! Really made me smile!

So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 29. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll see you all next week. x
