it’s Thursday (already!) so it’s time for my weekly #funseekingkids round-up. I hope you’re all good and getting into the spirit of Autumn? This week we’ve actually been looking for conkers, hurrah! Blogger/toddler life goal – achieved! This week I’ve picked some lovely Autumnal shots and a couple of lovely “awww” moments. So here is my #funseekingkids round-up week 28!
If you’re wondering what #funseekingkids is all about, it’s pretty simple really. It’s a new Instagram hashtag set up by me and Alana who blogs at Burnished Chaos. Anyone can use the hashtag when they post photos of kids having fun. Each week we share our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 28
1. My first choice is all about the conkers. This is a gorgeous shot from Taryn, aka 3 little ladies and me. That’s a lot of conkers!!
Phoebe loves collecting things, currently it’s Conkers which are scattered all over our house. She sees magic in the ordinary and I love that. Can you see her little stick man she found on our walk? Seeing the world through her eyes is a lovely place to be and how I’m going to approach my day today. 2. Next is this gorgeous one from Katy who blogs at Hot Pink Wellingtons. Katy has a lovely feed, one of my favourites. I just loved the expression on her son’s face here!
When your new best friend just ate the treat you gave her ❤️ We had a lovely morning today with our friends and their gorgeous dog, who was a huge hit with Max. It’s made me want a dog so much! We’ve been talking about it lately and I feel like once Ben is a bit older we’ll finally take the plunge, but I can’t decide what breed to get. I love beagles, labradors, and golden retrievers but it’s such a hard decision. Hit me with your recommendations and make my life even harder! 😆
3. My third choice made me seriously go “awwwww” and it’s from Little Wight Explorers. A lovely sibling photo.
4. I had to finish off this week’s round-up with another Autumnal one. The pumpkin patch ints-shot! We’ve not been to a proper pumpkin patch before but I’m tempted, if only to see what Miss Belle makes of it (and yes, to get some lovely insta worthy photos too…) Thanks to This Mamma for joining us and sharing this lovely pic.

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. I know her daughter’s not been the happiest at pre-school drop off recently so it’s lovely to see and hear that things are going better. Good work!
Getting L into preschool hasn’t been easy these last few weeks and there have been lots of tears and screaming. Collecting leaves near the entrance and taking them in for use in crafts has really helped though and this morning was amazing. She mentioned not wanting go just as we arrived at the gate but then she started collecting leaves and she was fine. There were no tears and she went straight in without needing several hugs and kisses first. So proud of her 😍. Fingers crossed she keeps it up 😬
So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 28. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. I’ll see you all next week. x
