My gorgeous gorgeous Miss Belle, you are beautiful.

When you tell me and sign to me that you want to do “books”, you are beautiful.

When you slide up next to me for me to read to you, you are beautiful.

When you tell me you’d like to watch ‘Om-as’, you are beautiful.

When you sit and suck your thumb, you are beautiful.

When you call Dumbo “baby” and ask me to sing to him, you are beautiful.

When you try to give Dumbo some of your milk, you are beautiful.

When you knock on the door, I open it, and you shout “HIYA!”, you are beautiful.

When you offer me a piece of your apple, or a spoonful of yoghurt, you are beautiful.

When you know there is cake about and you run around like a nutter shouting “caaaaaaake” in a bizarre Geordie account, you are beautiful.

Whenever you hear a plane and you look to the sky or run to the window shouting “paaaaaaane”, you are beautiful.

When you bend over, put a ball through your legs and laugh at how clever you are, you are beautiful.

When you count and miss out number seven because it’s too hard to say, you are beautiful.

When you pick up my hand and bring it to your mouth and kiss it, you are beautiful.

When you give me a kiss on the cheek, you are beautiful.

When you give me a hug and lean in with an “awwwwww”, you are beautiful.

When you gabber away to yourself when you should be going for a nap, you are beautiful.

When you sing Baa Baa Black Sheep and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, you are beautiful.

And when I rock you to sleep, and your eyes gently close, you look so peaceful. You are so beautiful.

This is such a beautiful post, it’s made me all emotional! It’s all those little things that just make toddlerhood such a wonderful age, but that you so often forget if you don’t capture them. I love the cake one especially – my son has an inbuilt radar for cake I swear! And the word ‘cake’ can never be said at normal volume, it always has to be ‘CAKE!’ Thanks for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

Haha, they do love the cake! It’s amazing how quickly they realise what’s delicious and what’s really not! Thanks for reading and hosting xx

Oh my goodness this is beautiful. So many lovely things about childhood that you want to hold on and remember forever. This is why I love posts like this, because in five years time you can look back and remember all the little bits that you’ve forgotten. Thank you for joining us at #SharingtheBlogLove

How can you not completely dissolve into a big pile of goo when your daughter picks up your hand to kiss it?!?!? Oh my. I have happy goosebumps thinking about that. Motherhood is the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced, by a mile. Thanks for making me melt tonight. 🙂

This made me feel very emotional-it’s so gorgeous. What a wonderful way to record all of the things your toddler does that make you so happy and so proud, and the bits that are so easily forgotten. I’ve forgotten loads of things mine did when they were smaller, that I wish I’d noted down. It will be lovely for her to read too, when she’s older xx

Definitely, it’s sometimes easy to feel the pressures of every day life but really our days are full of wonderful things too, even if it doesn’t feel like it some days!
