Hello and welcome to my #funseekingkids round-up week 9. We’ve nearly had 2000 photos linked up which is just amazing, so thank you so much to everyone who’s joining in this fab community. I think it’s half term for a lot of the country this week so if that’s you then I hope you’re having a good week.
Each week we share our favourite photos posted in the new Instagram community set up by myself and Alana from Burnished Chaos. If you’re wondering what #funseekingkids is all about, it’s pretty simple really. It’s a new hashtag to use when you post photos of your kids having fun on Instagram. Every Thursday we share on our favourite four images on our blogs and on our Instagram feeds. If you’re a blogger we’ll link over to your blog too. But don’t worry you don’t need to be a blogger to join in. If you’re new to the community please do share the love and let your friends know, we’d love to see some more feeds join us each week.
#funseekingkids round-up week 9
1. My first choice is from Louise who blogs at Squished Blueberries (what a fab blog name, wish I’d thought of it!) I loved this beach one.
We spent the morning at the beach and I felt a little bit like I was on holiday I honestly could have stayed all day if I wasn’t so unnecessarily concerned about driving home while the roads were still quiet I hope everyone who is on half term now has a lovely week with their little ones. I will try not to be too grumpy about all the parks and beaches being so much busier than usual #homeschoolproblems
2. Keeping with the beach theme I chose this one from Sian who writes at The Mama Story. Miss Belle face planted into sand last year at the beach and it really made me chuckle!
“Let Them Eat Dirt” says a new book by microbiologists B.Brett Finlay & Marie-Claire Arrieta subtitled “How To Save Your Child from an Over Sanitised World”. I don’t need to worry about my little one – here she is eating sand and she was out earlier in the rain drinking water from the puddles on the patio (!). This thought provoking book makes me feel like less of a slack mum . I’m giving away copies of the book – head on over to my blog (link in profile) to read my review and enter the giveaway (closes 10/6/17).
3. My third choice is this adorable one from oddhogg. Such a cute pic!!
4. My last choice had to be this shot taken by Aleena who blogs at Mummy Mama Mum. I love this sign and am now on a mission to find one for myself! She got it for £1 at a car boot sale!!

Finally, I always add one of my favourite photos of Alana’s. This week I chose this one of her two having their first Donkey ride at Whitby. I have fond memories of going to Whitby for Fish and Chips as a child but I don’t think I ever went on a Donkey ride!
So that’s my #funseekingkids round-up week 9. If you don’t follow these accounts already go over and show them some love. Make sure you head over to Alana’s blog to check out her favourite four posts too. Thanks so much again to everyone who’s taken part. Keep tagging your photos of your kids having fun and playing with the hashtag. Next week I’m away in the New Forest so I’ll check in but Alana will be doing a bigger round up whilst I take the week off. Thanks Alana! x
